State governments have been reminded to comply with the implementation of a moratorium on the export of non-radioactive rare earth elements, which came into force on January 1.

The Negri Sembilan state government has approved the standard operating procedures for the mining of non-radioactive rare earth elements (NR-REE), which is expected to commence this year, said Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.
