The government will table the proposed amendments to Article 14(1)(b) of the Federal Constitution relating to the citizenship of children born overseas in Parliament this month, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
AT the Universal Periodic Review, Malaysia received 11 recommendations urging the government to ensure that Malaysian mothers have the same right to confer citizenship on their children as Malaysian men.
