Air Putih assemblyman Lim Guan Eng, has urged the state government to increase the allocation from RM500,000 to RM800,000 per year for all assemblymen of the government bloc, similar to the amount provided in Selangor.
As an appreciation and recognition of civil servants in the state, the Penang state government has approved a Special Financial Assistance (BKK) payment amounting to half a month's pay or a minimum of RM1,000.
