Sg Perai pipe repair set for completion by 4pm today, says Chow

Work to fix the clamps to repair the leak in the 1,350mm underwater pipe in Sg Perai here is expected to be completed by 4pm today, said Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.

In a statement today, Penang Water Supply Corporation said that it is implementing an emergency response plan to repair the 1,350mm water pipeline located at the bottom of Sg Perai, which will disrupt the supply of water in several areas in the state.
