Najib’s royal pardon not a guilt admission, but a call for justice: Shafee

Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah has clarified that Datuk Seri Najib Razak is not seeking forgiveness in his quest for a royal pardon. Instead, he contends that Najib was denied the opportunity for a fair trial in the SRC International Sdn Bhd case.

Shafee promises to subpoena Tommy Thomas over leaked memo in RM6.6 bil Ipic case

He also claimed that the prosecution will have a difficult time crafting its case, thanks to the leaked memorandum, saying: “They will have a nightmare preparing their witness statement, because their witness statement will show nothing, no offence (committed by Najib and Irwan).”
