The Inland Revenue Board says the e-Invoicing system has strengthened compliance, with more taxpayers voluntarily coming forward to declare past income amid expanded digital enforcement and analytics-based monitoring
Its chief executive officer Datuk Abu Tariq Jamaluddin said such measures were based on information received periodically from tax authorities across the world.
