National mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei have broken their second-round curse this season as they advance to the semifinals of the Thailand Masters at Nimibutr Stadium in Bangkok.
His coach, Datuk Tey Seu Bock, said that the 23-year-old will sit out the Thailand Masters and prepare for the Badminton Asia Team Championships (BATC) next month after sustaining a torn back muscle at the Malaysia Open during his first-round match against Japan’s Koki Watanabe.
