He said that such an institution should not be seen as a mere institution or a revenue generator for the country but as an important institution linked to poverty.
The prime minister said the measure involved several institutions and aid programmes among them Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia, zakat institutions throughout the country, as well as People’s Income Initiative.
