Man found in Bezza near car boot sale died over five days ago, say police 

Cops urge witnesses to come forward to assist in investigations

KUALA LUMPUR – The man who was found dead in a car at Kota Damansara, near here, is believed to have been deceased for over five days. 

Subsequently, Petaling Jaya deputy police chief M. Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly called on witnesses of the incident to come forward to the nearest police station to assist with the investigations. 

“At 12.04pm yesterday, Kota Damansara police received a report about the death of a man at a car park in Jalan Teknologi 3/9. 

“Preliminary investigations found that the deceased was found in an unconscious state inside a Perodua Bezza. 

“He is believed to have been dead for over five days,” he said in a statement. 

Witnesses may directly contact Kota Damansara police chief Mohd Nasir Mustapha at 011-3205 2062 to assist in investigations. 

Recently, visitors and sellers at a Damansara Car Boot Sale discovered the body of a man in a parked car close to the area. 

The discovery of the remains, believed to have been there for the past three to four days, was shared by a car boot sale participant via X (formerly Twitter) after people began noticing a smell. 

In addition to the discovery, it is learnt that the deceased had left a copy of his Identification Card, in addition to a note, calling for the public to contact his family members, behind the car’s windshield.
