KUALA LUMPUR – Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil has extended his condolences to the family of entertainment journalist Siti Nor Hafiza Kamarudin, who died in London yesterday.

“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. Just this evening, I posted about journalist Fiza Kamaruddin’s critical condition in a London hospital.

Earlier, Siti Nor Hafiza’s husband, Mohd Roshdi Ramli, told Bernama that his wife breathed her last at 3pm local time (11pm Malaysian time).

Siti Nor Hafiza, 40, was admitted to the Charing Cross Hospital in London after reportedly losing consciousness at Heathrow International Airport yesterday while en route to Malaysia after a vacation.

The journalist, who was attached to Boom Malaysia and Jurnal Malaysia portals owned by KRU Media, was selected to receive a sponsored travel package with her family to London, and she left with her husband and their two children for the holiday in the middle of this month. – December 29, 2023
