Netizens enthuse over pics depicting PAS man as fireman, rugby player – and even futuristic soldier

KUALA LUMPUR – In an effort to keep up with the times, Kedah Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor dabbled in a popular trend involving artificial intelligence (AI).

On Facebook, Sanusi, who is also Jeneri MP, posted several AI-generated images of himself dressed in dashing suits, and in other careers – such as a fireman, a rugby player, and even a futuristic dystopian soldier.

“Just when I started finding followers, they (other people) have started playing with AI,” he said in the caption.

“I am tired of chasing (them, in terms of being technologically savvy). The world is moving so fast. Just trying,”

His post gained traction, with various netizens commenting on how it stuck out by being different from his other posts, which mainly focus on his administration in Kedah.

On top of comments praising Sanusi’s good looks and skills, many also joined in to quip about the situation.

“Mantap, MB. (You would be) the idol of ladies if this is how it is,” said a Facebook user named Muhd Harif.

“KL-ite ladies will melt like this, YB,” another user named Mohd Azman Hussin similarly commented.

Other netizens had short but sweet comments, such as Mohd Hasrol who merely said “Padu”, and Shahid, who said “Peh lain macam”. – February 4, 2024
