Health minister Dzulkefly hospitalised for renal colic

KUALA LUMPUR – Health Minister Datuk Seri Dzulkefly Ahmad has been hospitalised for renal colic after being brought to the emergency department early this morning. 

The Health Ministry in a statement said he was in stable condition and receiving treatment.

Renal colic involves the blockage of the urinary tract due to stones.

Dzulkefly, who is Kuala Selangor MP, and aged 68, is health minister for the second time after being appointed to the post in a cabinet reshuffle in December. – March 13, 2024
