KUALA LUMPUR – Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd has expanded its payment systems to enable the usage of credit and debit cards at all its stations.

The cards, effective as of yesterday, can be used for purchasing tickets, topping up Touch ‘n Go cards, as well as obtaining My50 and MyCity passes.

They can be utilised at all customer service counters at the stations, designed to complement existing cash and QR code payment methods.

“This new payment method aims to provide convenience and increase the efficiency of the purchasing process for Rapid KL users.

“They will no longer need to worry about carrying cash or finding an ATM machine, as the transaction process will now be safer and smoother,” Rapid Rail said in a statement.

The introduction of the new payment method is in line with its commitment to continuously improve its purchasing system and meet the needs of users by providing them with a more positive experience when using Rapid KL services, it added. – May 1, 2024
