From tomorrow, Malaysians can enjoy 30-day eTourist visa to India free of charge

Applicants for all other eVisa categories are still required to pay applicable fees

KUALA LUMPUR – Starting July 1 (Monday), Malaysians will be able to enjoy a 30-day eTourist visa to India free of charge until June 30, 2025.

In a statement, the Indian High Commission in Malaysia announced that the eTourist visa with double entry will be free of charge. 

However, applicants for all other eVisa categories will be required to pay applicable visa fees.

This includes applicants for eBusiness, eConference, eMedical, eMedical Attendant, eAyush, and eEmergency visas.

“The current regulations for eTourist visas and other eVisas will stay unchanged.

“Those who wish to obtain normal paper visas from outsource provider IVS Global Visa Centre or the High Commission of India will continue to pay the prescribed visa fees,” it said in a statement.

The 30-day eTourist visa can be applied for online at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html.

Since December 1, 2023, Malaysia has offered visa-free travel for Indian visitors for up to 30 days. – June 30, 2024
