KUALA LUMPUR – Binastra Corporation Bhd has secured a RM235.48 million contract to build a 39-storey serviced apartment in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

The company said its construction arm Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd had received the letter of award from Mightyprop Sdn Bhd to undertake earthworks, piling, pile caps, main building works, and infrastructure works for the 662-unit building in Sentral Damansara.

The development would feature a “Sky Garden” park on the rooftop and a range of facilities on Level 1 that sits above a four-level podium parking area that includes two business units, Binastra said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

There would also be two underground levels and three basement levels, with eight business units and an 11-kilovolt substation main switch station, it said.

“The contract will be completed within 40 months from the date of commencement, which will be confirmed upon the architect’s instruction,” the company added. – September 2, 2024
