KUALA LUMPUR — Mata Ayer assemblywoman Wan Badariah Wan Saad died at Hospital Tuanku Fauziah here at 4.26 pm today at the age of 50.
Perlis PAS Information chief Mohamad Zahid Ibrahim announced her death in a post on the Perlis PAS Facebook page.
He also extended condolences to her family and urged the public to pray for her soul.
“May Allah shower His blessings upon her soul, forgive her sins and place her among the faithful and the righteous.
“My condolences to all members of her family,” he said.
Wan Badariah’s official Facebook page also announced the passing of the first-term assemblywoman.
She was elected in the November 2022 general election and had served as Perlis tourism committee chairman until December last year.
She was also PAS Perlis’ only female elected representative. – October 31, 2026
