Kapar air crash: recovery of victims’ bodies completed

Police vans seen transporting remains of two deceased away from crash site

KAPAR – Authorities have successfully extracted the bodies of the victims from the wreckage of the light aircraft that crashed here earlier this afternoon.

Observations at the crash site in Kg Tok Muda revealed two body bags being carried out at around 8.06pm.

Subsequently, the bodies were transferred to two police vans, presumed to be en route to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang, where post-mortems are scheduled.

Vans transporting the body bags left the scene at approximately 8.10pm.

Earlier, Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan confirmed the identities of the victims as Daniel Yee Hsiang Khoon, 30, and Roshaan Singh Raina, 42, with Yee serving as the pilot.

Hussein told the media on-site that approximately 130 to 150 officers were deployed for today’s search-and-rescue efforts. – February 13, 2024
