Na’im set to undergo surgical procedure today

Minor procedure aims to relieve pain experienced throughout the week due to gland stones, says minister

KUALA LUMPUR – Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Datuk Mohd Na’im Mokhtar is expected to undergo a minor surgical procedure to remove salivary gland stones.

In a Facebook post, he said the procedure was scheduled to take place at 8am today.

“The gland needs to be removed to relieve the pain I’ve been experiencing this week,” he said.

He also asked the public to pray for him so that the surgery goes smoothly and he recovers quickly.

In the same post, Na’im urged the public to intensify their acts of worship in conjunction with Nuzul Quran, as well as pray for the Palestinian people’s well-being. – March 28, 2024
