KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim celebrates his 77th birthday today.

In a video compilation posted by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on the premier’s Facebook page, cabinet ministers extend their birthday wishes to the Tambun MP.

The video, which lasted almost three minutes, was also posted on the Prime Minister’s Office’s social media channels and featured both Deputy Prime Ministers Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, as well as other cabinet members.

While Fadillah prayed for guidance and clarity, Zahid hoped for Anwar’s blessings to multiply and for his spirituality and faith to fortify.

Meanwhile, Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli said, “Don’t forget, you are already 77 years old. If you can, run a little bit more than you do now.”

Law minister Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said wished for Anwar’s long and prosperous life.

“Happy birthday, sir! So I hope you live for a very long time to fill up this chair (as prime minister),” she said.

Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo hoped that Anwar would keep inspiring his ministers.

“Keep doing what you do, keep fighting, keep inspiring us, keep bringing Malaysia forward.” – August 10, 2024
