PMO appoints Shazalli Ramly as Media and Strategic Comms advisor

He replaces the late Rozaid Rahman, appointment effective yesterday

KUALA LUMPUR – Datuk Seri Mohammed Shazalli Ramly has been appointed as the Media and Strategic Communications advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), effective yesterday. 

Shazalli replaces the late Rozaid Rahman. 

In a statement today, PMO said that Shazalli, who currently serves as media advisor to Khazanah Nasional Bhd, will also oversee media and communications for the prime minister. 

“He will also be tasked with enhancing the implementation of the Malaysia Madani campaign,” the statement read.  

The late Rozaid passed away on August 18 from a heart condition at his home in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya. 

He was appointed to the position on May 23 last year. – October 15, 2024
