Mother finds 35-year-old son dead in car at Danau Kota

Police say no signs of injury were found on the 35-year-old, whose body was discovered by his mother inside a parked car in Danau Kota

KUALA LUMPUR – A 35-year-old man was found dead inside his car at Danau Kota, Setapak, earlier today.

The body was discovered by his mother as she was passing through the area on her way to work.

Speaking to Scoop, Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, Mohamad Lazim Ismail, said police received a report of the incident at 7.52 in the morning.

“Preliminary investigations indicate there were no visible injuries on the deceased, and no signs of foul play have been detected at the scene so far,” he said.

The victim’s body has been taken to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for further examination.

The case has been classified as a sudden death (SDR). – December 6, 2025
