Extra services to London and Paris launched in response to global disruptions

KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia Airlines is set to add additional flights on the Kuala Lumpur–London Heathrow (LHR) and Kuala Lumpur–Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) routes between March 6 and 8, in response to widespread global travel disruptions.

The airline confirmed in a statement to Scoop today that the supplementary flights will be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

The new services will follow alternative routes to avoid affected areas while ensuring passengers reach their destinations safely. This decision comes as airlines worldwide make adjustments to their schedules in light of airspace restrictions and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

For the Kuala Lumpur–Paris route, Malaysia Airlines will operate an additional flight (MH7014) on March 6, departing at 2:15 pm and arriving at 9:10 pm. The return flight (MH7015) from Paris to Kuala Lumpur will leave at 11:30 pm, arriving the following morning at 7:10 am on March 7.

For the Kuala Lumpur–London route, a supplementary flight (MH7004) will depart on March 7 at 10:00 am, arriving at 4:10 pm. The return flight (MH7003) will leave London at 5:40 pm and land in Kuala Lumpur at 2:30 pm the next day.

A further flight from Kuala Lumpur to London (MH7004) will depart on March 8 at 11:15 am, arriving at 5:25 pm, with the return (MH7003) leaving London at 7:25 pm and landing in Kuala Lumpur at 4:15 pm the next day.

Bryan Foong, CEO of Malaysia Aviation Group’s Airline Business, stated: “We recognise that disruptions across global travel networks can be challenging for passengers. Our priority is to maintain connectivity and provide reliable options for travellers, especially in times of uncertainty.”

The airline also announced it is collaborating with its partner carriers to arrange onward connections for affected passengers and encouraged travellers to check the latest flight updates via its official website and mobile app. – March 5, 2026
