Olivia Rodrigo announces Asian leg of GUTS tour but Malaysia misses out again

Grammy-winning pop star to play Bangkok, Singapore and possibly Manila

KUALA LUMPUR – It looks like pop star Olivia Rodrigo is skipping Malaysia as she brings her GUTS tour to Singapore, Thailand, and possibly the Philippines.

She is set to play Bangkok on September 16 and Singapore on October 1. 

The 21-year-old Grammy winner also teased with a “Stay tuned Manila!”, suggesting that this could be on her tour calendar.

Other stops in her Asian leg include Seoul (September 20), Hong Kong (September 24) and Tokyo (September 27).

Pre-sale tickets for Live Nation members are available from noon on May 15 via Ticketmaster.

Rodrigo, who has Filipino and German-Irish parentage, is best known for hits such as Drivers License and Vampire.

She has also won the Grammy for Best New Artist in 2022 and seven Billboard Music Awards, and was Time magazine’s Entertainer of the Year in 2021.

The singer-songwriter starred in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series from 2019 to 2023. – May 9, 2024
