KUALA LUMPUR – Manchester United defender Harry Maguire is set to appear in the upcoming friendly against the Asean All Stars at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on May 28.
It will be the 32-year-old’s first visit to Malaysia since joining the Red Devils in 2019.

The England international has been in fine form, recently scoring a dramatic late winner in United’s 5–4 triumph over French side Olympique Lyon in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-finals at Old Trafford on April 18.
He followed that up with a key performance in the 3–0 semi-final first leg win over Athletic Bilbao last Thursday, assisting Casemiro’s opening goal at San Mamés Stadium in Spain. The return leg will be played at Old Trafford on May 8.
United, 13-time English Premier League champions, last visited Malaysia in 2009 during their pre-season tour, where they defeated the Malaysian XI 3–2 and 2–0 on July 18 and 20, respectively, at the same Bukit Jalil venue.
Following their stop in Kuala Lumpur, the Red Devils will continue their tour with a fixture against the Hong Kong national team on May 30, before heading to Stockholm to face newly promoted Leeds United on July 19.
They will then travel to the United States as part of the Premier League Summer Series, with matches lined up against West Ham United (July 26), Bournemouth (July 30) and Everton (August 3).
