Magistrate orders 31-year-old man to be remanded for another six days from today until Saturday to allow investigations under Sexual Offences Against Children Act
A doctor claimed trial at the sessions court here today to six charges of producing pornography and engaging in sexual misconduct while treating six paediatric patients from December 2022 to January 26, 2023.
A primary school administrative assistant was arrested on November 17 after 12 reports were filed against him for allegedly molesting 15 special needs students.
The special guidelines for handling cases of sexual offences against children will be updated to a new version in January 2024, said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said.
