The controversy of chanting the “takbir” should not cloud the main agenda of tonight’s Malaysia Stands with Palestine Rally at Axiata Arena Stadium, said religious affairs minister Datuk Mohd Na’im Mokhtar.

Organisers expect 20,000 attendees for Bukit Jalil Palestine gathering

With Abim and Global Peace Malaysia as the main organisers, the gathering scheduled from 7.30 to 10.30pm will also involve more than 40 NGOs such as Malaysian Humanitarian Aid And Relief and the Malaysian Consultative Council of Islamic Organisations.
