AirAsia Aviation Group has announced the appointment of Riad Asmat to its board of advisers as he relinquished his position as the chief executive officer of AirAsia Bhd, effective December 31, 2023.

In an Instagram post, Riad Asmat thanked AirAsia and the team “for their undying support given throughout the good as well as bad times”, and said it was “truly an honour to have been given the opportunity to work with each and every one of you throughout these years”.
