The Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) predicts continuous downpours in Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, Pahang, Perlis, Penang and Perak until next Tuesday.
Eight states as well as Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are to face thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds until 9pm today, said METMalaysia in an advisory issued at 4.55pm.
