Road from Semantan to KL will be closed from Saturday to December 31

Drivers have been recommended to take Jalan Johar in the meantime

KUALA LUMPUR – The slip road from Semantan heading to Kuala Lumpur will be closed starting Saturday until December 31 to facilitate the construction of the second phase of the elevated highway along the route.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) said for an alternative route to KL, users coming from Bukit Damansara/Jalan Beringin via the Setiabudi Interchange will need to take Jalan Johar.

“Jalan Johar will be turned into a two-lane road. Road users are advised to adhere to traffic signage and police directions to avoid confusion and maintain public safety,” it said in a statement yesterday.
