KUALA LUMPUR – All highways, except two in Johor, will be toll-free on December 23 and 26 in conjunction with the Christmas celebrations, said the Works Ministry.

The exceptions are the toll plazas at the Sultan Iskandar Building and Tg Kupang in Johor.

The toll-free period runs from 12.01am to 11.59pm on December 23, and 12.01am to 11.59pm on December 26, and will be applicable to all vehicle classes.

According to the ministry, the toll-free dates are supposed to help alleviate traffic congestion and it has advised road users to comply with the travel time advisory.

Motorists should also check the latest traffic updates at the Malaysian Highway Authority’s social media platforms or by calling 1-800-88-7752. – December 21, 2023
