KUALA LUMPUR – The bodies of two women were found in a car parked on the side of the road near Taman Sri Rabia in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, last night.

Checks by police and the Bandar Perda Fire and Rescue Department on the Honda WR-V revealed the two bodies in the front seat were bloated and decomposed.

It is believed that the two victims, who are thought to be in their 20s, may have died more than five days ago.

Bandar Perda Fire and Rescue operations commander Mohd Nor Azamuddin said his team received an emergency call about the incident at 7.41pm.

He said the team found the bodies of two adult women in the front seats.

“We handed the case over to police for further investigation,” he said in a statement.

The bodies were sent to Bukit Mertajam Hospital for post-mortem examinations. – July 11, 2024
