"Rehabilitation” of those deemed as religious deviants or immoral Muslims will only bear fruit if the individuals themselves have the intention to change, according to Penang Mufti Datuk Seri Wan Salim Wan Mohd Noor.
The legal fraternity have voiced differing opinions about the Johor government’s recently announced plans to establish a rehabilitation centre for religious ‘deviants’ and members of the LGBT community.
