Pemaju hartanah swasta yang menerajui projek pembangunan semula Kg Sg Baru, Ritzy Gloss Sdn Bhd telah mengarahkan bekalan air di kawasan itu dipotong meskipun Perintah Pembangunan belum dikeluarkan.
Pembangunan semula Kg Sg Baru semakin hampir terlaksana apabila pemaju hartanah Ritzy Gloss Sdn Bhd, tetap dengan pendirian meneruskan rancangan perobohan di kawasan Melayu berkenaan, walaupun penduduk tidak bersetuju kerana pampasan tidak berbaloi.
Menurut laporan polis yang dikongsikan oleh sumber kepada Scoop, laporan berkenaan dibuat oleh Mohd Adam Abd Aziz, yang mendakwa sebagai Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Bertindak Projek Pembangunan Semula Kg Sg Baru (majoriti).
