The Meteorological Department said the affected areas include Perlis, Kedah – namely Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Pendang, Padang Terap, Sik, Baling and Kulim – as well as Kuala Kangsar, Perak, and Beaufort, Sabah.
