PUTRAJAYA – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s ability to restore political stability clearly proves the unity government’s capability in bringing positive change to the country.
Speaking at the PKR National Congress 2023, today, Penang PKR debater Datuk Dr Mohamad Abdul Hamid said the stability has also restored the people’s faith towards the democratic system, which was previously perceived as weak.
“The successful formation of the government today is testament of the people’s belief towards the party’s credibility to administer (the country).
“(PKR should) continue to serve their best by supporting the concept of justice and service in realising success, in order to give meaning towards reformasi and champion Madani,” he said when debating the president’s policy speech.
Mohamad, who is also Penang deputy chief minister I, said the cooperation and concerted effort by government agencies remains the strength in providing the best service for the rakyat.
“In fact, greater success can be driven through the commitment from our own party’s ministers.
“Among them include our education minister, health minister, economy minister and communications and digital minister,” he said.
He further emphasised the process of islah (change) is a pillar to the achievement of al-falah (success).
“In the context of Penang, the changes we want to implement are changes that are just and beneficial.
“It is with the determination to bridge the social gap through Penang’s Wakaf development in the fields of housing, health and education.
“Therefore, with the cooperation and support from all parties, I believe we can realise these three agendas to ensure Penang’s success,” he added. – November 26, 2023
